Project Manager
Borne Resourcing Limited
One day you’re in Hampstead wearing site boots and a fleece discussing drainage and scaffold lifts…the next you’re in Monaco in sunglasses and a linen shirt trying to look like you’ve always understood how yacht people talk.
I’m working with a small, family-run refurbishment contractor with offices in London and the South of France - and another opening in Monaco shortly.
Proper old-school business:
- Owner still signs every letter
- Still meets every client personally
- Still cares about reputation more than LinkedIn buzzwords
They want a Junior PM - but not the “I’ve got a degree and a colour-coded notebook so now I run construction” type.
They want someone sharp.
- Client-facing.
- Organised.
- Good with people.
- Someone who can speak to trades, consultants and clients without sounding like a hostage reading a script.
- Degree route with decent site exposure
- Or trade/site background with natural PM ability
The role is basically being the link between office and site. Keeping jobs moving, solving problems early and becoming the right-hand person to experienced owners who will actually teach you something along the way. Someone moldable, hard-working, self-motivated, holds themselves accountable, responsible and trustworthy (to name but a few attributes needed)
Package around £45k - £50k (negotiable DoE) + package including:
- Family David Lloyd membership
- BUPA
- Fully paid travel to the South of France & Monaco
Happy to have a chat if you feel this describes you and where your career is currently at.
