Our client is a specialist design and engineering consultancy delivering complex projects across the pharmaceutical, laboratory, life sciences and healthcare sectors.
Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of technically complex projects from inception through to completion. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants and project stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will have previous experience delivering projects within pharmaceutical, laboratory, healthcare, life sciences or similarly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects through all stages of the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and resource plans
- Lead client meetings and stakeholder engagement activities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design and engineering teams
- Monitor project performance, risks and opportunities
- Manage change control processes and project reporting
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and contractual requirements
- Support procurement and construction delivery activities
- Oversee project documentation and governance procedures
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Experience delivering projects within:
- Pharmaceutical facilities
- Laboratories and research facilities
- Healthcare environments
- Life sciences projects
- Cleanrooms and regulated manufacturing facilities
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, consultancy or engineering environments
- Strong project delivery background
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Salary up to £80,000
