An ambitious and growing civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Civils Project Manager to help drive and develop their presence across the South West region.
This is a key strategic hire for the business, offering the opportunity to play a leading role in regional growth, client development, and successful project delivery across a diverse portfolio of civils and infrastructure works.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, while helping to strengthen existing client relationships and identify new opportunities across the region.
The Role
  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects safely, on time, and within budget
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the South West
  • Support regional business growth and work-winning activities
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Monitor project programmes, commercial performance, and resource allocation
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support long-term regional expansion plans

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering
  • Strong background delivering infrastructure or groundworks projects
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and programmes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
