We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to take the lead on high-profile civil engineering and construction projects nationwide.

As Project Manager, you will oversee every stage of the project lifecycle—from initial planning and mobilisation through to final handover—ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a key member of the delivery team, you will:
- Lead and manage civil engineering and construction projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate with design teams, site managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Control project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Produce detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and updates for senior management
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively
- Travel nationwide to oversee multiple live projects
- Build, mentor, and inspire site teams and junior staff
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
You will be a confident leader with a proven track record of delivering successful civil engineering or construction projects.
Essential Skills and Experience- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel extensively across the UK
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Professional project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent (desirable)
