A leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in London is seeking a confident and proactive Project Manager to join their growing team delivering high-profile workplace fit out, refurbishment and relocation projects. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to work with established commercial clients across fast-paced CAT A and CAT B fit out schemes within the office, corporate and commercial sectors.

The successful Project Manager will play a key role in managing projects from inception through to completion, taking ownership of project administration and delivery with minimal oversight. This Project Manager position would suit an independent and organised professional with strong stakeholder management skills and previous consultancy-side experience delivering fit out and refurbishment projects.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.



The Project Manager's role

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project delivery across commercial fit out, relocation and refurbishment schemes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project administration throughout all project stages
  • Producing meeting agendas, minutes and action trackers
  • Overseeing change control procedures and project reporting
  • Contract administration duties under standard building contracts
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors and client stakeholders
  • Monitoring programme, cost and risk management processes
  • Supporting projects from feasibility through to handover
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget



The Project Manager

The consultancy is seeking a motivated and professional Project Manager with:

  • Previous experience delivering fit out, refurbishment or relocation projects
  • Consultancy or client-side project management experience
  • Strong contract administration knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience preparing project documentation and reporting
  • Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or similar
  • Working towards or chartered status with RICS, APM or CIOB preferred
