An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a growing multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Birmingham. This Project Manager role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential sector, supporting developers, investors and public sector clients through the successful delivery of schemes from inception to completion.

With a healthy pipeline of residential developments and mixed-sector projects, this Project Manager position provides excellent exposure to a variety of schemes while offering genuine opportunities for career progression. The incoming Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors, taking responsibility for project delivery and helping to maintain the consultancy's reputation for exceptional client service. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.



The 'Project Manager's' role

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects through all phases of delivery, ensuring programme, cost and quality objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects from feasibility through to completion.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Managing procurement activities and contract administration processes.
  • Chairing project meetings and preparing client reports.
  • Supporting the delivery of residential and mixed-sector developments.
  • Assisting with business development and repeat business opportunities.



The 'Project Manager'

The ideal Project Manager will have consultancy experience and a proven ability to successfully deliver construction projects.

Requirements:

  • Residential project experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as MAPM, MRICS or MCIOB.
