Project Manager – Engineering (SC Cleared / Eligible)
📍 Onsite – Fareham area, Hampshire

A growing engineering organisation is looking for a hands-on Project Manager to support the delivery of complex technical projects from concept through to production.

This role suits someone who enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams (electronics, software, mechanical), helping remove blockers, maintain momentum, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to define goals, constraints, and dependencies
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Coordinate across internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Facilitate project meetings and sprint planning
• Track progress and report to senior stakeholders
• Support transition from development into production
• Produce project documentation and support customer requirements

Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or related field
• Experience managing technical or product development projects
• Understanding of engineering lifecycles and structured delivery processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Familiarity with Agile and/or stage-gate methodologies
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Git-based systems, or similar (desirable)

Desirable Experience

• Electronics, embedded systems, or software project environments
• Exposure to technologies such as RF systems, networking, Linux, or real-time systems

Additional Information

• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)
• Role is primarily onsite with some flexibility
• Occasional UK travel required
