We are a respected medium‑sized contractor seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major refurbishment and car park upgrade to a large industrial warehouse facility. This role requires a confident, site‑focused leader with a proven track record of managing construction projects from inception through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day project delivery across internal refurbishment and external car park works
• Act as the primary client‑facing representative, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors, programme, quality, and H&S compliance
• Drive progress against programme milestones and proactively resolve issues
• Ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification

Essential Requirements

• Managers CSCS card
• SMSTS certification
• First Aid
• Demonstrable experience as a site‑based lead on refurbishment or industrial projects
• Strong client‑facing communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage both internal works and external civils packages
• Proven success delivering projects of similar scale and complexity

Competitive day rate, dependent on experience.
