Are you a Project Manager experienced in managing deep excavation civils for HV cable route projects? If so, then read on!

Our client is delivering major renewable energy infrastructure projects across South West England, supporting multiple solar and battery storage farm developments. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee civils work on long-distance HV cable installation works between Exeter and Land’s End.

CIS: £350 per day | Permanent: £65,000 - £70,000 + Company Truck + Package

Project Manager Key Essentials:

  • As Project Manager your role will involve overseeing daily civils site operations along HV cable routes on multiple projects
  • Managing Supervisors and site teams, subcontractors, and direct labour to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Ensuring health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all activities
  • Monitoring traffic management, SLG and temporary works, ensuring that all meet required guidelines
  • Monitoring programme delivery and ensuring works are completed on time and to specification
  • Liaising with stakeholders and local authorities throughout the project
  • Commercial awareness of projects, ensuring that any variations are captured

Project Manager Requirements:

  • Previous civils project management experience on HV mains projects in the highway
  • Good understanding of utility construction methods and site delivery practices
  • Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme requirements
  • Qualified with SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor & Temporary Works Coordinator / Supervisor
