Project Manager

A public sector organisation is looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their commercial property team on an interim basis. You’ll work on refurbishment and capital improvement projects across a variety of council buildings, managing multiple smaller-scale schemes at once.

What you’ll do:

• Inspect buildings and plan remedial works
• Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and project briefs
• Supervise contractors and manage budgets on site
• Coordinate statutory inspections and compliance
• Work closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

• Building Surveying qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree)
• Experience in refurbishment, maintenance, or public sector projects
• Knowledge of JCT contracts
• MRICS preferred but not essential
• Able to juggle multiple projects efficiently
• Experience across commercial portfolios
