Project Manager – Joinery / Fit-Out

I’m working with a growing joinery contractor who is looking to appoint a Project Manager to deliver bespoke joinery and fit-out packages.

This role will see you managing projects from award through to installation and handover, working closely with clients, designers, and workshop teams.

The role:

  • Managing joinery projects from pre-start through to completion
  • Coordinating design, manufacture, and installation
  • Leading client meetings and acting as the main point of contact
  • Managing programmes, budgets, and project risks
  • Overseeing subcontractors and site installation
  • Handling variations, valuations, and final accounts
  • Ensuring quality, H&S, and compliance standards are met

What I’m looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering joinery or fit-out projects
  • Strong understanding of bespoke joinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • High-end residential or commercial project experience
  • SMSTS / CSCS (Manager level)
  • NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management
