£55,000–£60,000 + Package
We’re supporting a leading retail fit‑out contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys managing multiple live projects, and is confident representing the business on site across the UK.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering retail fit‑out projects from planning through to completion. You’ll be responsible for coordinating site teams, managing subcontractors, ensuring programme delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. Regular nationwide travel is required, with occasional stays away depending on project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple retail fit‑out projects simultaneously
- Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery
- Maintain project programmes, reports, H&S documentation and RAMS
- Ensure all works meet quality, safety and compliance standards
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular site visits across the UK
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering retail fit‑out projects
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple fast‑paced projects nationwide
- Confident client‑facing approach
