We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large commercial groundwork package based in Yorkshire.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity with a well-established groundwork and civil engineering contractor, offering consistent work on a major commercial development.

Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day operations on a large commercial groundwork project

• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials

• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget

• Leading site meetings and liaising with clients and senior management

• Managing health & safety and site compliance

• Monitoring progress and reporting on project performance

Requirements:

• Proven background in commercial groundworks and civils

• Previous experience managing large groundwork packages

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred

• Ability to drive programme and maintain high standards on site
