Syntech Recruitment are working with a leading engineering and recycling solutions business to support the hire of a Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering complex turnkey recycling plant solutions across Ireland, the UK, Australia and international markets.

Project Manager Duties

  • Oversee all stages of project delivery including planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover

  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets and resource allocation

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying specifications and delivery stages

  • Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors across multiple project sites

  • Support and manage Site Managers to ensure delivery targets relating to safety, quality and programme schedules are achieved

  • Lead regular project and site progress meetings, maintaining accurate reporting and project updates

  • Monitor project progress and ensure delivery milestones are achieved on time and within budget

  • Manage contract variations and ensure all changes are documented and claimed in accordance with company procedures

  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure expectations are consistently met throughout project delivery

  • Work closely with engineering, procurement and finance teams to support successful project execution

  • Prepare and manage invoicing schedules and associated project documentation

  • Travel to project sites as required to support operational delivery and stakeholder engagement

Project Manager Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience within Project Management, Site Supervision or Construction Management

Proven experience delivering complex engineering, industrial or infrastructure projects

Engineering qualification within Mechanical, Civil or related discipline advantageous

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Confident working with clients, suppliers and cross-functional teams

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to perform under pressure

Strong project administration and documentation experience

Working knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous

Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required
