PROJECT MANAGER

Salary: £60k-£70k + Benefits

We are supporting a leading engineering organisation in their search for a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex engineering and process plant projects across international markets.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the process industry to manage projects through their full lifecycle, from initial proposal and engineering through to installation, commissioning and final handover.

The Role: As Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Project Delivery – Managing and coordinating a wide range of projects including equipment supply, EPC projects and upgrades of existing process plants.
  • Lifecycle Project Management – Leading projects from initial kick-off through engineering, manufacturing, transportation, installation, commissioning, performance testing and final project closure.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management – Building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and project partners worldwide.
  • Commercial & Contract Management – Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, budgets and project schedules.
  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination – Supporting sourcing activities and managing auxiliary equipment packages, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Technical Coordination – Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and commissioning teams to ensure project success.
  • HSEQ Compliance – Ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
  • Planning & Reporting – Preparing project plans, monitoring progress and reporting on project performance, finances and milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Promoting strong teamwork and collaboration across international and multicultural project teams.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Over 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the water/wastewater process industry.
  • Experience delivering EPC, equipment supply or complex process plant projects.
  • Strong project contract management and commercial awareness.
  • Experience managing suppliers, procurement packages and contractor relationships.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing follow-up, inspection and expediting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within international and multicultural environments.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to gain hands-on operational and site experience.
