A well‑known Higher Education organisation is seeking a Project Manager to lead a major website transformation programme, providing clear leadership and delivery assurance during the early stages.

This role plays a key part in defining structure, approach and momentum for the programme.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead early‑phase delivery of a website transformation programme.
  • Establish programme governance, planning standards and reporting.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams covering design, build, content, integrations and transition.
  • Manage delivery partners and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Identify and manage risks, interdependencies and delivery constraints.
  • Ensure the programme is well positioned to move into subsequent delivery phases.

Skills & experience

  • Strong and recent Higher Education experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering large‑scale website or digital platform programmes.
  • Strong programme governance, planning and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience shaping delivery structures at the start of complex initiatives.
  • Confident operating in mixed technical and business environments.
