Project Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing

Location: Kent
Rate: £350 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

We are currently recruiting for several experienced Project Quantity Surveyors on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the commercial management of planned maintenance projects, with a particular focus on kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes across Kent, South London, South Sussex and West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing costs and commercial performance across multiple projects.
• Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Pricing and managing works using Schedule of Rates (SOR).
• Producing forecasts and cost reports.
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor management.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Essential Experience:

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within the social housing sector.
• Strong background in planned maintenance contracts.
• Experience with kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes.
• Good knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SOR).
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
