Property Litigation Solicitor – Position Overview
The successful Property Litigation Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of contentious property matters from inception through to resolution, acting for a diverse client base across both commercial and residential property disputes.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-value matters while playing an active role in business development and the continued success of the department.
Key Responsibilities of the Property Litigation Solicitor:
- Managing a broad caseload of contentious property matters.
- Advising clients on commercial and residential property disputes.
- Land and property ownership.
- Landlord and tenant matters.
- Commercial property disputes.
- Managing cases from pre-action stage through to trial.
- Conducting negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Representing clients at court hearings and trials where required.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
- Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities.
- Ideally 6–8 years' PQE in Property Litigation.
- Strong technical expertise in contentious commercial and residential property matters.
- Proven ability to manage files independently and take ownership of matters.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and practical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
