The Role
An established engineering business is looking for a Proposals Engineer to develop high-quality technical and commercial bids across a range of projects.
You’ll work closely with engineering, sales and supply chain teams to create tailored solutions, produce compelling tender submissions, and support the full bid process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client requirements and develop technical solutions
- Produce tender documentation, including technical and commercial content
- Prepare cost estimates (materials and engineering hours)
- Support tender reviews, risk assessments and bid coordination
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage multiple bids to deadline
About You
- Background in electrical, control or automation engineering
- Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and control panels
- Strong technical writing and commercial awareness
- Able to interpret specifications and identify risks
- Degree/HND or equivalent (preferred)
