Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative engineering proposals and solutions for automated materials handling systems
• Interpret client requirements and translate them into conceptual and detailed designs
• Collaborate with internal design, sales, and project teams to create competitive bids
• Support cost estimation, technical documentation, and tender submissions
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the proposals function

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong design capability (conceptual through to detailed level)
• Experience within automation, materials handling, or a related engineering sector (highly desirable)
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical and cost considerations
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
