Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Elec/mech Prototype Technician for a contract position to support current projects. This is a 3-6 month contract with plenty of hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing electro/mechanical assembly tasks to support critical projects
- Creating and working on prototypes as required
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
- Maintaining high standards of quality and precision in assembly activities
- Collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
- Documenting assembly processes and reporting any issues or improvements
Job Requirements:
- Experience of electro/mechanical assembly and wiring within defence or aerospace
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Proficiency in creating and working with prototypes
- High calibre assembly skills with a focus on detail and precision
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in assembly work
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
