Role: Pump Service Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience

Our client is looking for an experienced Pump Service Engineer to join their busy team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a wide range of electrical pump systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

This is a field-based role requiring strong technical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities include:

• Service, maintain, and repair electrical pump systems (including submersible, booster, and wastewater pumps)
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on-site
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Install and commission new pump systems
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide technical advice
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations

Skills and experience:

• NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Engineering
• 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
• Proven experience working with pump systems or similar equipment
• Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong customer service and communication skills
