Axon Moore are exclusively partnering a high-growth business in Blackburn as they look to bolster their finance team with the addition of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk capable of hitting the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end Accounts Payable position.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Processing purchase invoices and dealing with queries
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • First point of contact for all complex queries
  • Completing BACS and manual payments
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with audits
  • Implementing/streamlining new and existing processes
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Two years’ previous experience working within an accounts payable role
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
  • Willingness to learn and succeed
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
Benefits and Package:
  • Starting salary up to £32,000 DOE
  • Hybrid and flexible working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
