Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant
Location: Otley (Driver required due to location of office)
Salary: Up to £30,000
Job Type: Temporary – Ongoing

We’re currently supporting a well-established business in Otley as they look to bring in an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is an ongoing temporary assignment, offering immediate start and the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.

Due to the location, this role is best suited to someone who can drive and commute reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Uploading invoices onto the Sage system
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
  • Maintaining accurate records using Excel

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant role
  • Confident using Sage and Excel in a day-to-day finance environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-moving team
  • Reliable and committed, with a proactive approach
