What’s the role?

You’ll take ownership of the purchase ledger — keeping things accurate, organised, and running like clockwork. From invoices to payments, you’ll be the go-to person making sure everything adds up (literally).

This isn’t just data entry — you’ll also have the chance to improve processes, get involved in projects, and make a real impact on how the finance function runs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing, coding, and posting invoices in Sage Intacct
  • Preparing weekly payment runs (and keeping suppliers happy)
  • Reconciling accounts and spotting discrepancies before anyone else does
  • Allocating costs across multiple sites and departments
  • Keeping everything on track for month-end deadlines
  • Getting involved in system improvements and making things work better
  • Supporting the wider finance team on projects when needed

What you’ll bring:

  • Solid purchase ledger experience
  • Sage Intacct know-how (essential)
  • AAT (or equivalent experience)
  • A sharp eye for detail — you notice what others miss
  • Confidence working with systems and improving processes
  • A team-focused, proactive attitude
