MS Purview Specialist - Contract
£500-£600 per day | Outside IR35 | 3 months | 2 days onsite (Watford)
We're looking for a hands‑on Microsoft Purview specialist to stand up data governance across a live Fabric platform.
This is a practical role focused on ownership, definitions, access control, and PII governance, working closely with both tech and business stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Configure and roll out Microsoft Purview
- Implement a fit‑for‑purpose data governance framework
- Define data ownership, glossary, and key metrics
- Support classification, labelling, and access control
- Ensure PII governance aligned to GDPR
- Embed governance into day‑to‑day delivery
What we need:
- Strong hands‑on Purview experience (essential)
- Proven data governance delivery in live environments
- Experience handling PII / GDPR
- Confident working with stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption
- Solid understanding of Fabric / Azure data platforms
