Qualified Primary Daily Cover Teacher

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Qualified Primary Teacher to provide daily cover across a range of Primary year groups in schools based in Erdington. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who thrives in varied classroom environments and can quickly build rapport with pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYS, KS1 and/or KS2
– Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
– Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
– Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Provide feedback to class teachers and school staff at the end of each day
– Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
– Proven experience working within UK primary schools
– Strong classroom management skills
– Flexibility and willingness to work across different year groups and schools
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:
Experience working in a supply or cover role
Knowledge of the National Curriculum across multiple key stages
Ability to quickly adapt to new school environments and routines
