The Role:
As a teacher in an alternative provision setting, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs
Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Implement strategies to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development
Work collaboratively with support staff, leadership teams, and external professionals
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
We Are Looking For:
Qualified teacher with a QTS qualification or equivalent
Experience teaching students with SEMH, complex needs, or SEND
Knowledge and experience of managing behaviours that challenge
Calm, patient, and resilient approach to teaching and classroom management
Reliable, flexible, and available for daily emergency cover as well as long-term assignments
