Are you a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician with proven experience managing quality documentation, traceability records, and inspection of manufactured components?

Do you have hands-on experience within a manufacturing quality environment and want to take on a Quality Engineer role focused on quality documentation, certification packs, compliance, and inspection support within a fast-paced production setting?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established UK manufacturer of bolts and pipeline commodities, supplying global markets from a 24/7 production facility. With almost 50 years of experience, the company is committed to maintaining high quality standards, strong technical capability, and continuous improvement across its operations.

In this role, you will support the Quality function across the full production process from customer purchase order through to final product dispatch, with a strong focus on the preparation, control, and management of all quality documentation, certification packs, and traceability records, alongside supporting inspection and verification activities on the shop floor.

This role would suit a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician who has experience in handling quality documentation in a manufacturing environment and can operate with minimal supervision.

The Role:

• Support and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1 standards, and internal procedures, ensuring compliance across production and documentation activities
• Prepare, control, and maintain all quality documentation including inspection reports, material certification, traceability records, and final documentation packs for customer release
• Identify, report, and manage non-conformances, customer complaints, and supplier issues, ensuring accurate documentation, containment, and resolution
• Carry out in-process and final inspections of manufactured components using measuring equipment to verify product conformity

The Person:

• Experience in a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or Quality Engineering role within manufacturing
• Proven, hands-on experience managing quality documentation, certification packs, and traceability records on a day-to-day basis (essential)
• Commutable to Hyde
