Quality, Information, Safety and Governance (QISG) Co-ordinator
IC24
Quality, Information, Safety and Governance Coordinator
The Role
Behind every safe, high-quality patient service is accurate information, strong governance, and well-managed processes.
At IC24, our Quality, Information, Safety and Governance (QISG) team plays a vital role in ensuring we meet our statutory, regulatory and safety responsibilities across all services - and we’re looking for a coordinator to help keep everything running smoothly.
As a Quality, Information, Safety and Governance Coordinator, you’ll provide essential administrative and coordination support across the QISG team. You’ll help maintain accurate records, support governance processes, coordinate meetings, manage systems and assist with incident, complaints and information requests.
This is a key support role within a fast-paced governance environment where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail directly contribute to patient safety, service quality and regulatory compliance.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across quality, patient safety, risk and information governance teams to ensure information is well managed, action is tracked, and the organisation is supported to meet its responsibilities.
What you’ll focus on
• Coordinating QISG meetings, agendas, actions and documentation
• Maintaining accurate records including risk registers, complaints logs and governance trackers
• Supporting incident, complaints and information request processes (including DSARs and RFIs)
• Producing reports and extracting data from governance systems (e.g. Ulysses)
• Supporting audits, inspections and quality assurance activity
• Maintaining shared mailboxes and ensuring timely routing of queries
• Supporting the development and dissemination of learning from incidents and complaints
• Assisting with DSPT and information governance compliance activity
• Ensuring governance documents and archives are accurate, organised and accessible
About you
You’re organised, detail-focused and comfortable working in a structured but fast-moving governance environment. You can manage competing priorities, handle sensitive information appropriately, and support multiple stakeholders with professionalism and accuracy.
This role would suit someone who:
• Has experience in an administrative, governance, quality or healthcare support role
• Is confident using systems to manage data, reports and documentation
• Understands the importance of confidentiality, information governance and data protection
• Has strong organisational skills and can manage multiple deadlines
• Communicates clearly and works well with a range of stakeholders
• Is comfortable producing accurate notes, reports and maintaining records
• Has excellent technical skills and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
