6am to 6pm Shift 4 Days on 4 Days off (will be expected to work weekends & Bank Holidays)

The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring all components meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. You’ll be responsible for both mechanical and visual inspection, working closely with production and despatch teams to maintain quality and consistency across all outputs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct mechanical inspection of components against drawings and CAD data

Perform detailed visual inspections to customer standards (including carbon fibre and paint/finish quality)

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards

Maintain and check measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability

Work closely with Stores and Despatch to support smooth material flow

Provide feedback on non-conformances (NCRs) and scrap to support improvement and training

Identify root causes of quality issues and contribute to “right first time” improvements

Skills & Experience

Have own transport as we are based in a rural location

Composites experience is ideal
-
Experience using a portable measuring arm (e.g. PolyWorks software) if not training will be provided

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD data
-
Strong understanding of quality inspection processes

High attention to detail and accuracy

Experience in manufacturing or composites environments

Ability to meet deadlines and quality targets consistently
