An established engineering and manufacturing business in Poole is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join its growing Quality team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in precision inspection, metrology, and quality control within a manufacturing environment.

• Conduct goods inward and final inspection activities.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Operate a range of inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.
• Create and maintain CMM inspection programmes.
• Complete inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with PPAP, FAIR, and ISIR documentation.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure product conformity.

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of metrology and dimensional inspection.
• Experience using CMM equipment and inspection software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship desirable.
