Quality Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced and driven Quality Manager to lead quality assurance activities within a highly regulated engineering and manufacturing environment.

This is a key leadership role for a process-driven Quality professional with strong people management capability and a passion for continuous improvement. The successful candidate will take ownership of the Quality Management System, drive operational and process improvements, and ensure full compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

Working closely with operational, engineering and customer stakeholders, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction and manufacturing excellence across the Alternative Fuel division.

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015
• Manage and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors, driving accountability and high performance
• Lead process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality operations
• Manage all PPAP activities including Control Plans, DFMEA, PFMEA and supporting documentation
• Conduct and lead internal and external audits
• Act as the primary Quality representative for customers, third-party auditors and regulatory bodies
• Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies
• Analyse quality trends, KPIs and process performance data to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance across inspection, certification, complaints management and product release activities
• Produce technical reports, 8D investigations and customer-facing communications
• Support the wider business in promoting a culture of quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction

We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong Quality professional who combines leadership capability with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will ideally have:

• Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• Proven experience within a Quality Management role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience managing PPAP, APQP, FMEA and Control Plans
• Previous experience within the automotive or highly regulated manufacturing sector
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent process improvement and problem-solving capability
• Ability to analyse quality metrics and drive measurable improvements
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and report writing skills
• Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement qualifications would be advantageous
