In a lot of quality roles at this level, you either end up doing pure inspection with little involvement in the bigger picture, or admin-heavy work that feels disconnected from what is actually happening on the shop floor.

It gives you exposure to the full quality process without being stuck purely on inspection or purely on admin.

You’ll be based in a large-scale manufacturing facility in Rotherham, supplying into sectors including defence, rail and heavy engineering. The work is consistent, the systems are structured, and the expectation is clear. Keep information accurate, support quality processes, and help maintain standards across the shop floor.

  • Reviewing inspection reports and confirming pass or fail status.

  • Confidence reviewing inspection data and reports.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation.
  • Comfortable working with data and documentation.
  • Experience with Faro inspection or Polyworks software is useful but not essential.
This role suits someone who wants to move beyond basic inspection work and be more involved in the wider quality process.

  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Company pension
  • Life assurance
