QUANTITY SURVEYOR – SOCIAL HOUSING 🚨

💰 £55,000 – £75,000 DOE + Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Social Housing Main Contractor delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment, FRA, decarbonisation, and reactive maintenance projects across London & the South East.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of secured works and long-term frameworks already in place.

The role would suit someone commercially sharp who is confident managing projects from pre-construction through to final account while working closely with operational teams and clients.

🛠️ Responsibilities:

• Managing the commercial performance of multiple social housing projects
• Preparing and managing valuations, CVRs, variations, and final accounts
• Subcontractor procurement and account management
• Cost control and forecasting
• Working closely with Contracts Managers and Operational teams
• Managing client relationships and attending commercial meetings
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and cost-saving solutions
• Supporting tender and pricing activities where required

✅ Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or social housing
• Experience working for a Main Contractor preferred
• Strong understanding of refurbishment, maintenance, or planned works
• Good knowledge of contracts and commercial processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
