Quantity Surveyor – M&E

We’re working with a leading construction contractor with an outstanding industry reputation and a turnover exceeding £100m, looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their fast-paced M&E business unit.

This is a varied role working across multiple sectors with responsibility for commercial management from pre-construction through to final account.

Projects & Sectors

• New build housing estates
• Schools, colleges, and universities
• Private sector clients

Scope of Works

Projects typically include:

• Full new build mechanical & electrical packages
• Solar installations
• Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
• Plant room renewals
• Additional ASHP and solar upgrades to existing buildings

Contract values range from £50k to £2.5m.

The Role

• Managing project costs and commercial performance
• Subcontractor procurement and account management
• Valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Working closely with operational and delivery teams
• Supporting multiple projects across the region

Requirements

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or M&E/building services
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Degree qualified preferred
