Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bridgend.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of a large and diverse public sector property portfolio. Working closely with operational and commercial colleagues, you will provide clear financial insight across planned and reactive maintenance and minor works, helping to maintain strong cost control, balanced risk management, and effective contract administration.

You will contribute to accurate reporting, collaborative supply chain relationships, and informed decision making, with the opportunity to influence how services are delivered across multiple sites while developing your commercial expertise within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the commercial management of a multi-site facilities and property services portfolio
• Assist with cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Prepare valuations and applications for payment
• Support contract administration, including change control and compensation events
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to support service delivery
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to support performance and value
• Maintain accurate commercial records, logs, and reports
• Use data and analysis to provide clear commercial insight
• Contribute to risk management and financial governance
• Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification, or equivalent experience
• Commercial experience within maintenance, facilities, or small works environments
• Working knowledge of NEC or similar forms of contract
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Confidence working with financial data and reports
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting
