Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + package

A leading international main contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its team on a major RC-frame development project in London. The scheme involves a large-scale multi-storey construction project, delivering high-quality works within a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established commercial team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a flagship project from procurement through to final account.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of the project, including:

• Managing day-to-day commercial activities across allocated work packages
• Procurement and subcontractor management
• Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Managing valuations, variations, and change control procedures
• Supporting risk management and value engineering initiatives
• Working closely with operational teams, consultants, and client representatives
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
• Assisting with the preparation and agreement of final accounts

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment
• Experience working on RC-frame or large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of commercial processes and standard forms of contract
• Ability to manage subcontractor packages and project costs effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Membership of or working towards RICS (desirable)
