This is a role with genuine influence. You won’t be buried in a back-office function — you’ll be central to how our projects perform commercially.

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000

Contract: Permanent

Sector: Commercial interior fit-out · D&B

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Take full commercial ownership of multiple D&B interior fit-out projects running simultaneously.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans from inception through to final account.
  • Procure subcontractor and supplier packages, negotiating terms and managing performance throughout.
  • Handle valuations, variations, and final accounts with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Produce regular cost reports and forecasts, keeping the delivery and senior teams fully sighted.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Designers to provide commercial strategy and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors — representing Interaction with confidence at all levels.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven QS experience within interior fit-out or commercial refurbishment — you know this sector and its pace.
  • Solid understanding of Design & Build contracts and how to manage commercial risk within them.
  • A track record of managing projects in the £1m–£10m+ range with confidence.
  • Commercially sharp with strong cost control instincts — you spot risk early and act on it.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills — clear, confident and credible with clients, subcontractors and colleagues alike.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent preferred, though relevant experience will always speak louder.
What’s on Offer
  • £50,000–£60,000 salary, depending on post graduate experience.
  • A genuine pathway up the career ladder.
  • Exposure to high-profile commercial interior projects at pace.
  • A collaborative, delivery-focused team that takes quality seriously — and takes care of its people.
  • The chance to work with one of the UK’s most ambitious design and build businesses.
How to Apply If you’re a QS who wants to genuinely influence project performance — and secure something long-term in the process — we’d love to hear from you.
