Radiopharmacy Technician - Night Shift

- Job Type: Full-time, Night Shift (12-hour rotating shift pattern, occasional Saturday shifts)

Day-to-day of the role:
- Participate in the project phase, including drafting and executing validation protocols for the production and quality control of radiopharmaceutical products.
- Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using advanced technology in a GMP environment.
- Perform aseptic dispensing and ensure sanitation of the production suites.
- Conduct quality control procedures to analyze the radionuclide and radiochemical purity of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and compliance in the facility, adhering to environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
- Pack and dispatch radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with local guidelines and transport regulations.
- Engage in continuous training and development activities, sharing knowledge and training staff as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Science-related degree preferred.
- Experience in aseptic dispensing or radiopharmacy is desirable.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical chemistry and GMP.
- Familiarity with Ionising Radiation Local Rules, COSSH, and Health & Safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and competence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
