Reach FLT Driver

Thrive Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Reach FLT for our client based in LS10 on an ongoing temporary basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks to efficiently handle materials, load and unload goods, and support warehouse management processes. This role is vital in maintaining smooth operations within a busy logistics environment, ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks. Previous warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly desirable, along with the ability to work effectively within a team. Duties

Operate Reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials across the warehouse.

Manage stock levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software, ensuring accurate recording of movements and inventory.

Assist in shipping and receiving activities, including preparing goods for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries.

Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain operational safety standards.

Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organisation within designated areas.

Support the organisation of warehouse space by arranging products systematically for easy access.

Perform basic mechanical tasks related to equipment repair or troubleshooting as needed.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during operations.

Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning work areas and maintaining a tidy environment.
