Reach Truck Driver

The Reach Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of stock within the Goods In warehouse at the Perivale site. This role plays a ключ part in maintaining stock integrity, supporting inbound operations, and ensuring that goods are stored and dispatched in line with company standards and health & safety requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks safely to load, unload, move, and store goods within the warehouse
• Receive inbound deliveries, checking quantities and quality against delivery documentation
• Put away stock accurately into designated racking locations
• Support picking and replenishment activities as required
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the Goods In area
• Follow all warehouse procedures, health & safety regulations, and risk assessments
• Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the line manager promptly
• Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets
• Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects immediately

Skills, Experience & Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 1+ years’ experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment
• Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in fast-paced operations
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team

Desirable:

• Previous experience working within Goods In or inbound warehouse functions
• A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Flexibility to support wider warehouse tasks when required
