Are you passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey? We are working with a welcoming and highly regarded primary school seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning from day one. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.



The Role

  • Supporting pupils within a Reception classroom
  • Assisting with the delivery of engaging Early Years learning activities
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development
  • Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where required
  • Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is desirable
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
