We are working with one of our Housing clients to help them recruit for a Receptionist with strong administration and scheduling experience to join a busy housing and property services team within a resident‑focused organisation.

This is a varied, front‑facing role that sits at the heart of responsive repairs and property services. You'll act as the first point of contact for residents and visitors, while also playing a key role in scheduling repairs, coordinating contractors, and ensuring works are delivered efficiently and compliantly.



The role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing reception duties and handling enquiries face‑to‑face, by phone and email
  • Logging and scheduling responsive repairs, communal works and void works
  • Coordinating appointments between residents, surveyors, operatives and contractors
  • Tracking damp, mould and disrepair cases, ensuring documentation and records are accurate
  • Applying priority times and schedule of rates to repair orders
  • Monitoring progress of works and following up to ensure completion
  • Supporting invoice processing, compliance checks and performance reporting
  • Maintaining clear communication with residents throughout the repairs process


What our client is looking for

  • Experience in a reception, front‑of‑house or customer‑facing admin role
  • Previous experience within housing, property, repairs or maintenance (highly desirable)
  • Strong scheduling, coordination and diary management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence using systems and trackers (including Excel)
  • A calm, organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with residents and internal teams
  • Knowledge of repairs processes, compliance or Awaab's Law is desirable but not essential
  • Please note due to the nature of this role, it will be on site 5 days per week.
