We are seeking dynamic and motivated recruiter who brings a blend of recruitment knowledge and experience, organisation, and strong people skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Recruitment & Resourcing Expertise

  • Experience managing high-volume recruitment or resourcing, ideally within construction, social housing, or trades environments
  • Understanding of subcontractor engagement
  • Confidence in sourcing candidates through multiple channels
  • Ability to effectively screen/Gauge leads with structured telephone. online or face to face meetings 
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance requirements, including right to work checks and basic vetting processes

Organisation & Coordination

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise urgent site requirements and shifting deadlines
  • Experience coordinating multiple vacancies or projects simultaneously
  • Strong administrative capability, with accurate record keeping and document control
  • Ability to track and manage onboarding processes from offer through to start date

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with subcontractors, site managers, and Senir management. 
  • Confidence in handling difficult conversations, such as negotiating rates or managing expectations
  • Strong customer service mindset when dealing with candidates and internal teams

Attention to Detail & Compliance

  • High level of accuracy when handling sensitive information and documentation
  • Understanding of compliance in a construction environment (e.g., certifications, qualifications, right-to-work)
  • Ability to follow structured processes while also identifying and resolving gaps

Systems & Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for tracking and reporting)
  • Experience using CRM tools, or databases (such as Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to internal processes

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Resilient and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with a “can-do” attitude
  • Team-oriented, with a willingness to support wider business needs

This role is office-based, no remote working available. We are based in Houghton Hall Park (LU5 5YG), hour of work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
