The Role

We're looking for a consultative and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our Permanent Recruitment team, specialising in commercial roles across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced recruiter or a proven sales professional who enjoys building long‑term relationships and delivering quality outcomes. The role is not purely sales‑focused, success comes from your ability to manage both client and candidate relationships, understanding career motivations as well as hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full end‑to‑end permanent recruitment process across commercial specialist roles
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with both clients and candidates
  • Act as a trusted advisor to candidates, supporting them through career decisions and job moves
  • Develop your local market across Manchester and surrounding areas through business development and networking
  • Source, engage and interview high‑quality candidates using multiple attraction channels
  • Deliver a consultative service to clients, advising on market conditions, salaries and talent availability
  • Manage offers, negotiations, onboarding and post‑placement aftercare
  • Ensure a professional, compliant and high‑quality recruitment experience throughout

About You

  • Experienced recruiter OR experienced B2B sales / business development professional
  • Strong relationship‑builder who enjoys working closely with candidates as well as clients
  • Consultative, credible and confident in managing multiple stakeholders
  • Commercially aware, resilient and motivated by results
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload
  • Genuine interest in people, careers and the local Manchester market
