Experience & skills

  • Proven recruiting experience (agency or staffing), ideally with exposure to technical or infrastructure hiring.

  • Strong ability to screen and assess engineering and technical talent, or demonstrable aptitude to learn technical role requirements quickly.

  • Excellent stakeholder and candidate communication skills; professional email and phone etiquette.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.

  • Strong organisation and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.

  • Commercial awareness and experience meeting placement or KPI targets.

  • Resilience, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable

  • Experience recruiting within power & energy systems, data centers/compute infrastructure, or advanced engineering fields.

  • Existing technical network in utilities, energy, data-center, or applied engineering sectors.

  • Familiarity with technical job families: protection & control, systems engineering, site operations, power electronics, thermal & mechanical engineering, automation, and cloud/compute infrastructure roles.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to work with specialist clients at the intersection of energy, AI, and mission-critical infrastructure.

  • Hands-on role with clear impact: you will contribute to building critical infrastructure teams and support complex programs.

  • Collaborative, high-performance team environment and clear career progression.

  • Competitive salary with performance incentives and professional development support.

How to apply Please submit your CV and a brief cover note outlining your recruitment experience, sector exposure, and why you’re interested in joining Futura. Successful candidates will be contacted for a conversation and an introductory assignment relevant to the role.

Power and Energy Systems
We support utilities, developers, and operators across the power value chain: generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and grid modernization. Our emphasis is on environments where system protection, reliability, and integration of renewable and conventional assets are decisive.

AI, Data & Digital Infrastructure
We work across the data-center and compute ecosystem, supporting development, expansion, and operations. The focus is on settings where compute intensity, power availability, cooling, and physical infrastructure must operate as a single coordinated system.

Advanced Technology & Applied Engineering
We support companies developing and deploying advanced technologies including automation, electrification, robotics, materials, and emerging energy systems. The common thread is applied engineering at scale: moving technology from design to manufacturable, operable reality.

Email communication
You will be expected to maintain professional, timely email communication with candidates and clients. Drafting clear role summaries, candidate feedback, interview coordination messages, and offer communications will be a core part of the role. Attention to tone, accuracy, and responsiveness is essential to uphold Futura’s market reputation.
