Looking for a role where you're not spending your life on the motorway? We're working with an established independent engineering business that has built a strong reputation over several decades delivering refrigeration and cooling solutions across the Midlands.
Their customer portfolio spans hospitality venues, large leisure facilities, retail environments, food service operators, and industrial premises. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to their service team.
The Position
This is a mobile engineering role focused primarily on commercial refrigeration equipment, with occasional air conditioning work.
Typical equipment includes:
- Commercial chillers and freezer units
- Walk-in cold storage systems
- Retail display refrigeration
- Ice production equipment
- Beverage and cellar cooling systems
- Split, VRF and VRV air conditioning installations
What we're looking for to be considered:
- Current F-Gas certification
- Hands-on experience servicing commercial refrigeration systems
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualifications
- Basic salary up to £45,000
- Paid travel from home to site
- 40-hour standard working week
- Enhanced overtime rates
- On-call rota (1 week in 5) with standby payment
- Company vehicle and fuel card
- Pension contribution
- Annual festive bonus
- 23 days annual leave plus public holidays
