Refuse Collection Operative

Location: Bedford
Pay Rate: £12.71 - £25.42 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 15:30
Overtime Available

We are recruiting Refuse Loaders on behalf of a well-established waste management company serving the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals seeking stable employment, great benefits, and the chance to secure a permanent position.

Working as part of a dedicated three-person crew, you will assist with the collection of household and commercial waste from homes and businesses across the region, helping to keep local communities clean and safe.

• Collecting wheelie bins from residential and commercial properties
• Loading waste safely onto collection vehicles
• Assisting drivers with daily waste collection routes
• Working efficiently as part of a team
• Following all health and safety procedures

• Must be aged 18 or over
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
