Regional Operations Manager (11+ Tuition Programme) – Summary

Role Overview

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery, quality, and consistency of an 11+ tuition programme across multiple centres in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Outer London, and Surrey. This leadership role combines operational management, staff training and development, quality assurance, parent communication, and administrative support to ensure an excellent experience for students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, induct, and support tutors, centre managers, and classroom assistants.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to maintain high teaching standards.
  • Conduct regular visits to tuition centres to monitor quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Observe lessons, evaluate student engagement, and support continuous improvement.
  • Manage parent communications and resolve queries professionally.
  • Coordinate with Head Office teams to ensure centres are fully resourced and operating smoothly.
  • Monitor centre performance, identify challenges, and recommend operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Provide regular performance updates and reports to Directors.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, teams, or locations.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between centres and work some evenings and every Saturday.

Working Pattern
